sachavonkarl74 Somewhere I've read that these guys sound like the Frenchies Alcest, and I don't like them. Yet, I've just heard Einvigi's new track, and it's captivating. However, to fully appreciate I had to listen to this full-length. While not my daily fix (blackgaze not being my thing), I have to say that these guys have a way to fuck with my mind, and I've found this album enthralling enough to get it. Favorite track: De Profundis.

Pentakilljoy I feel like Einvigi somehow reached into my head, seized my favorite elements of blackgaze and post rock, and combined them in the best way imaginable. Yö Kulje Kanssani contains the beautiful dreaminess of Alcest, the explorative spirit of Skyforest, and the pensive pleasantness of Sólstafir’s masterpiece Ótta (to name only a few). In a time when the blackgaze genre is widely labeled as pointlessly meandering, they truly exemplify the classic quote “not all those who wander are lost.” Favorite track: Kaunis on Maa.

anotherseptim A great listen - mixes between harsh and soft movements beautifully - its these types of albums that make me wish I understood Finnish! Favorite track: Kaunis on Maa.
